Due to a somewhat complicated cruciate injury, my dog Cali and I have loads of experience both with the super facilities in The SPAW (and with Melissa's awesome expertise, compassion and dedication) and with the experienced, knowledgeable, caring care and surgical skill Dr. Bowra provides. I sometimes have a seemingly endless supply of questions, and the patience and compassion shown to me by everyone never wavers. Equally as wonderful are the staff, from the front line to the vet techs to the support staff, who are genuinely glad to be there and who greet Cali with treats and pets each visit. Aldergrove Animal Hospital is a clinic where going above and beyond is definitely the norm and I couldn't be happier or more secure with the care Cali the Wonder Dog receives. If you really care for your pet you will take it to the Aldergrove Animal Hospital. The staff genuinely cares for your animal. My senior Lab takes me in because he knows he will soon be getting hugs and treats. Vet visits are never stressful because he is treated as part of the family not just a dog that happens to be a client. Dr. Bowra regularly updates his extensive knowledge so that your pet will receive the latest treatment. My dog had cruciate surgery and after Spaw therapy which included laser and Pulsed Signal Therapy (PST)treatments as well as water therapy, he did very well. After a car accident this past summer Sam was hurt and has received PST treatments both at the Spaw and at home with the portable machine. As well as being the best clinic in the Fraser Valley Dr. Bowra gives back to his community as well. He is a volunteer at Shortreed Elementary at the Breakfast Club as well as many other philanthropic events and his staff volunteer yearly for an Extreme Home repair for one fortunate family in Aldergrove. Aldergrove Animal Hospital and Spaw is a well rounded, caring facility and we are fortunate to have it located in Aldergrove. Kudos to Dr. Jeff, Dr. Sharon and the staff at Aldergrove Animal Hospital, they are certainly living up to their Mission Statement! They treat everyone as an individual with care and compassion and are always up to date on the current medical and surgery techniques. The Physical Rehabilitation available at The Spaw is incredible! That we would be so proactive with our human treatments! Dr. Bowra is one of the most caring Veterinarians that I have known, and his staff is one of a kind also. They make you feel so welcome when you come into their office, and they always know who you are. No names required, and the staff truly do care about the animals that come through there.
